Upstate Baptist Church serves as a local New Testament Church planted out of the Clays Mill Baptist Church in Lexington, KY that fulfills its Biblical purpose of:

·        Exalting the Saviour

·        Edifying the saved

·        Evangelizing the sinner

Upstate Baptist Church was started to first lift up the name of Jesus Christ. Our Saviour, Jesus Christ will be the main focus  of everything we do and will remain preeminent. Upstate Baptist Church exists to teach those from the Word of God that are already in Christ. This Church will strive to evangelize first the Albany, NY area while doing its part to win the rest of the world to Jesus Christ by supporting missionaries, starting churches, and sending laborers to the harvest.
